Is this my little girl that is wanting attention?

I had never heard such words before. Does my ego long to feel special? If I was needy I would have had to have his approval in order to enjoy myself. These actions translated into attention and love. I admit that I do like to feel special. The only reason I was grasping is because I was literally on empty.

Every once in a while he'll get mad at me for doing something dumb and he'll lecture me or yell at me or even just give me stern looks.

Lately it's been my karate coach who is in is 30s and I have a ton of respect for him and I love him as a person.

The thing is FOR SOME REASON AND I DONT KNOW WHY I love it when these kind of authority figures are mad at me for something.

It depends on the person but usually a teacher or coach who is a guy but sometimes girls who I respect or who I usually get along with well.

I never want serious punishments obviously but I'm always looking to be yelled at, lectured, scolded, etc by authority figures but only some.
