The 21-year-old victim was walking on Sparrow Street when he was approached by a masked gunman demanding his personal property. The suspect fired and struck the victim in the hip area, according to police. The victim is in stable condition, said police. Less than ten minutes later, police received reports of gunfire on Main and Weiss Streets.
