When the rain came at both NZ meetings it made even fields much harder

It was a forgettable weekend of punting. The highlight had to be Sacred Elixir winning fresh up. Tony Pike is certainly making a name for himself with this horse. He relaxed like an old campaigner and used his acceleration and strength to get over them. The big disappointment was Xtravagant though.
