Schools were closed since violence escalated in east Aleppo in the past weeks

For 9-year-old Judy, who lives in the Old City, on the eastern parts of Aleppo, going to school is a challenge. Houses around the school were damaged but every morning Judy would walk to school with her friends through the rubble. The road did not open and instead, heavy bombardment and shelling continued.
