The intersection is regulated by a traffic light

The semi hit the pickup broadside on the left-front corner and both vehicles entered the ditch. The female driver of the pickup, 27 year old Cassandra Lum of North Platte, was ejected and severely injured. She was life-flighted to Kearney for head injuries where she was listed in critical condition Friday.
