My solution was to wear a black dress with a blazer and heels

However, I did fall into fashion ruts a lot. That got boring and repetitive really quickly. So I tested putting shirts under my LBDs. I was really happy with the results. I felt like a button down under a dress was a great way to jazz up my black dresses.
