Have you ever fought incredibly hard to achieve a goal?

It seemed as though you were doing all the right things, and in fact you made a lot of progress. Things were looking good and moving forward as planned. However, suddenly out of the blue, something happened that absolutely derailed all your efforts. All that work and effort quickly turned into absolute disaster.
