Scott Rigell explained that was the reason why he endorsed Johnson for President

There are real consequences for doing so but they pale in comparison to having to live with not doing the right thing. Congressman Scott Rigell (R-VA) explained that to Joe Scarborough the other day. Principles and conscience come before party politics. Rigell encouraged other members of Congress to remember that before they make their endorsements this year.
