I think there is way too much emphasis in our culture on physical appearances

It would be a rarity for a girl to grow up in this culture and feel completely content with her own appearance. She is now 9 years old, and just coming up on the age when I first became self-conscious about my own body. This kind of thinking can be a huge factor in the development of eating disorders.

I didn't really want to have a baby, and I'm not really sure if I do even now, but I can't shake the overwhelming depression of my baby, who I knew had to of been there wasn't. it's been months and I cry about it at least weekly.
