We do our best to make our children purge their room once in awhile

I hated throwing stuff away when I was young. My children are the same way, and most parents I've talked to seem to agree. It usually requires help from us though. All that to say that I have come a long way. I love bare countertops and empty drawers. I'd rather cook or do something creative.

What got me upset was we were on skype talking and during our video call, he tells me brb he forgot to throw the trash out for garbage day.

He tells me to be open if I am upset, yet he gets angry when I do.

So I told him that something he did bothered me and instead of understanding where I was coming from and why it upsetted me, he got got so angry at me instead.
