I used fresh grown tomatoes on the vine. If you wish, you can leave the seeds and just chop them. Spoon the spaghetti into bowls, top with some of the meatballs, a grating of Parmesan Reggiano cheese, and some extra basil. Seed and chop the tomatoes into chunks and place in the pan with the olive oil.
