Labor Notes came out of a couple of experiences in the late seventies

We changed from the party building idea that we got from the UK to a re-groupment idea. So how did the work for the paper lead to the Labor Notes conferences? Those were some of the things that lead to the formation in 1979 of Labor Notes. We could do that because, from the work in IS, we already had a very broad network of trade union activists.
