Like many of the long-running narratives of our time, it started with a whistleblower. Stanford is the alma mater of Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes. Tyler Shultz took a mechanical engineering degree from the famed Palo Alto campus. Perhaps in the context of the times, simply telling the truth is a heroic act.
