Build a wood crate and have it double as a TV stand or coffee table

Luckily, there are lot of alternatives. Take advantage of some open floor storage in your laundry room and build a crate under a laundry counter or storage organizer. Add a doggy door to your stair spandrel panel. There are several lines of defense with it comes to pet odors.
