My 10 year old brother gets away with a lot of things I wouldn't get away with like staying late with friends without calling parents and he just makes an excuse like he's sorry he forgot like the rest of my brothers.

We're a Chinese family like the majority of the population here is (Asians and Hispanics) and our culture tends to have adult kids stay with their parents.

I know they'll be more worried about me dating in college even though the ONLY rule for my oldest brother is they'd preferably like to meet the girl he's dating.

They don't do it so much now because they're used to me being in high school now and I'll be turning 18 and graduating high school next year.

My brother just started high school (8th grade because we're in Canada) doesn't get talked about the same things I did when I started high school.

For example, when my 20 year old brother was my age they didn't give him so much lectures about safety.

I'm a 16 year old girl and in the 11th grade, I have a brother in college, my two other brothers are 13 and 10. We're all three years apart and the thing I notice is that my parents are more strict on me than the rest of my brothers.
