UPI was launched by the National Payments Corporation of India with Reserve Bank of India

UPI connects multiple Bank accounts, Banking services and Payment merchant in a single mobile app. UPI mus not be confused with the Internet banking services offered by banks. It has a completely different process of transferring money. Much easier that using Internet banking.
