I have seen many teachers work tirelessly to teach routines and then just drop them

Getting into the routine is hard, but necessary, and especially important for our students that need a bit more structure. You know the ones I am talking about. As a matter of fact, I am that kind of person. I thrive on routine, and I know that so many of my students do too.
