She still visits her kids but shes just putting up with his BS from her ex for her kids.

Well evidently she left him but she couldn't support her four kids so the kids stayed with dad.

She said because she wanted to leave him but he would not allow it.

Her ex would also not let her sleep at night and bother her send her to the corner and beat her.

Almost knocked her out and broke her tooth.

Now of course things went bad when she wanted to leave him because he was abusive.

Is she lying to me, traumatized of men or mental?

Obviously she loved him but said she didn't want a boyfriend?

If she only wanted kids, why did she stay faithful?

What I don't get (I hope you psychology folks can help me here) was that she told me she was faithful to her boyfriend for 12 years.
